At Root Dental, our new patient experience is designed to be thorough, personalized, and centered around your overall health. Your first visit includes a comprehensive exam supported by advanced diagnostics such as digital X-rays, 3D CBCT imaging, and high-resolution clinical photography. We take the time to complete a detailed new patient interview, evaluate your gums and soft tissues, screen for oral cancer, assess TMJ and bite function, and look for signs of sleep-related breathing issues. You’ll also receive nutrition education focused on how oral health connects to whole-body wellness, allowing us to create a care plan tailored specifically to you.

Meet Dr. Radhika Srikrishnan Iyer (Dr. Sri), a dedicated dentist with a passion for creating beautiful smiles and fostering lasting relationships with her patients. Dr. Sri, as her patients lovingly call her, graduated from the prestigious Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston. She has been committed to honing her skills and staying abreast of the latest advancements in dental care and evidence based dentistry through top-tier education courses. She is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry.
Understanding that dental visits can be intimidating for some, Dr. Sri goes above and beyond to create a welcoming and calming environment for her patients. Her goal is to make everyone feel at ease, providing a home-like atmosphere that instills confidence and comfort. "I Don't go to work, I go to make new friends" is the philosophy of Dr. Sri.
Dr. David Wong
(DDS, MDS | Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology)
Dr. David Wong was raised in Lewisville, Texas and a graduate of Lewisville High School. He graduated with honors from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Minor. Dr. Wong earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas and there he worked as a general dentist in private practice. Dr. Wong went on to do 3 more years of specialty training in a surgical residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, where he was awarded his periodontal specialty certificate and masters in dental science for his thesis research. He received advanced training on periodontal surgery/therapy, Implant dentistry, treatment of full oral rehabilitation cases, and Intravenous Sedation to help keep patients comfortable.
